Abstract
결론
저자는 서울대학교 치과대학 부속병원에 내원한 10세 3개월된 남아, 외상성치아함입 환자
에서 교정적 재위치화를 시행한 결과 치근의 교착, 변연 골지지의 상실없이 완전정출을 이
루었으며 치근외흡수가 합병증으로 나타났으나 근관치료를 통하여 더 이상의 치근외흡수를 정지시킬 수 있었다.

The management of traumatically intruded permanent incisor is controversial. Some
authors suggest a decreased incidence of complication in cases treated with orthodontic
extrusion. To examine this management technique, we treated 10 year 3 months old
male with upper lateral incisor traumatically intruded by means of removable orthodontic
appliance. The tooth was repositioned in 10 weeks after orthodontic force was initiated
and retained by acid etch splint for 8 weeks. At this stage radiographs showed evidence
of external root resorption of lateral tooth.
Root canal therapy of lateral incisor was performed. The tooth was filled with
commercial calcium hydroxide paste. 1 month later, there was no sign of additional
external root resorption and other complication was not shown.
